{"id":1188,"date":"2016-01-20T17:05:21","date_gmt":"2016-01-20T16:05:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.chateau-brown.com\/en\/?p=1188"},"modified":"2016-02-25T17:20:41","modified_gmt":"2016-02-25T16:20:41","slug":"brown-to-the-manor-born","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.chateau-brown.com\/en\/brown-to-the-manor-born\/","title":{"rendered":"Brown: To the Manor Born"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>It is quite a coincidence that Ch\u00e2teau BROWN (named after John Lewis Brown) should find itself at Lullebrooke Manor (property of the \u201cJohn Lewis\u201d brand) in Cookham, Berkshire.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At a Masterclass held in its Odney Club on 18 February, a selection of Bordeaux wines was presented to some thirty students approaching the end of their Master of Wine course. They did a blind tasting of six different vintages of Ch\u00e2teau Brown and Ch\u00e2teau Sociando-Mallet, ranging from 2004 to 2010.
