{"id":1316,"date":"2016-12-15T15:05:17","date_gmt":"2016-12-15T14:05:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.chateau-brown.com\/en\/?p=1316"},"modified":"2017-04-14T16:08:18","modified_gmt":"2017-04-14T15:08:18","slug":"events-november-december-2016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.chateau-brown.com\/en\/events-november-december-2016\/","title":{"rendered":"November &amp; December 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>These last two months Ch\u00e2teau Brown has been able to meet its consumers, customers and other wine lovers during several events &#8230;<\/p>\n<p>We participated in some exhibitions: at <strong>Decanter Fine Wine Encounter<\/strong>, which took place in London on the weekend of November 12th, at <strong>Salon Vins et Gastronomie<\/strong> in Nantes on the weekend of November 18th, but also at <strong>Bordeaux Tasting<\/strong> at the Palais de la Bourse, an exhibition organized by Terre de Vins, which welcomed more than 8000 visitors for its fifth edition on the weekend of 10 December!<\/p>\n<p>As part of the promotion of our wines, in partnership with the Pessac-L\u00e9ognan wine syndicate, we have also chosen to participate in three events.<br \/>\nOn 6 November we were at the Op\u00e9ra de Bordeaux as part of a <strong>concert-tasting <\/strong>of Pessac-L\u00e9ognan. A month later, on December 6th we were also part of the wines of the appellation that we could taste during the evening of the <strong>Aquitains of the Year<\/strong> which was held at La Fa\u00efencerie in Bordeaux. Highlight of the year at the property: we also received you during the <strong>open doors<\/strong> of December 3rd and 4th. Our vat room and our cellars were open to the visit, then our white 2015 and red 2010 were offered to the tasting. Like last year a food truck was present: \u00ab\u00a0Le Camion Brousse\u00a0\u00bb, offering tasty dishes &#8230; But it was also possible to taste our wines with Basque cheese, thanks to our partnership with a producer of Ossau Iraty cheese.<\/p>\n<p>Jean-Christophe Mau traveled to Paris to have a tasting session in front of some students, members of OENS, the oenology club of ENS Paris and Chartres school.
